Crosswords! Mostly themeless, no set schedule
Finally got the front yard all cleaned up from winter! Woohoo! Okay it's like 90% done, not quite all the way there, but all the winter crap and leftover wood has been taken care of! Oh, and this puzzle is my first foray into diagonal symmetry! Enjoy!
21x themeless! Check it out! Simultaneously significantly harder and easier than I expected. The worst part was writing 130 clues...that's a lot. But overall, lots of fun & I'll definitely be doing this again (but not next week - next puzzle has a different gimmick). Cheers!
Swapped puzzles out for today - the original grid I had intended looks absolutely gorgeous as a blank grid, but I made a few too many sacrifices in the fill. So will probably end up adding in another block :'( - but the finished product will definitely be better.
I do feel that grid aesthetics is one thing I care more about than many other people. To me, a pretty looking grid just adds a nice little extra bit to a puzzle - even though it's not necessary whatsoever. But, that can get me into some trouble too, like with the puzzle I was planning to run today.
