Back! I missed last time around but shrug, it'll happen again. In the meantime, things have been very busy at the Thomas house:
- We rebuilt our garage roof! It collapsed a couple winters ago & we hadn't got around to fixing it - don't worry, we don't believe it had seen any maintenance since it was built in the Great Depression. The old roof had...well we liked to call them "natural skylights" :). Lots of sweat but got it done in time for winter!
- Kindergarten is going just absolutely great for our oldest & our youngest is really blossoming now that he is out from his brother's shadow at preschool. Just absolutely in love with those two & it's the greatest thing in the world - all of it! Even the bedtime struggles.
- I scooped up an e-bike (the RadWagon 4) and am just absolutely in love. Hauling around the boys in it is an absolute delight, and I can swap the kid seats out for a giant Costco bin in about 2 minutes & head down to the grocery store. Very excited - my goal is to replace most (say 75% year-round or so - more in summer, less in winter) of daily commutes, kid dropoffs, grocery store runs with it + have a lot of fun at the same time.
Onto this puzzle - last year I ran a different Mariners-seeded puzzle on October 8th - had this one lined up for the same day but, well, see above. Despite coming up short to end the...uh...20 year playoff drought, this season was magical & I'm already looking forward to next year. Lots of young talent coming through the system.
